Rungboard Privacy Policy

Overview

Rungboard is a local-first job application tracker. It has no account, no ads, no backend, no cloud sync, no job-board scraping, no employer ATS integration, no recruiter marketplace, no AI resume writing, and no remote processing of your job-search records.

Information you enter

Rungboard can store role titles, company names, stages, follow-ups, interviews, tasks, notes, next-step reminder due dates, reminder alert state, notification permission state, archive state, delete actions, and CSV export contents that you choose to create. Device language and region can affect app wording and date formatting, but they are not app-specific settings.

Storage and sharing

Rungboard is designed to keep roles, notes, reminder due dates, reminder alert state, archive state, and related role history on the current device. Role history and exports do not leave the device through Rungboard unless you choose to export or share them.

Role history and reminders

Device language and region can affect language, date formatting, and wording. Rungboard does not use device language or region to submit applications, scrape job boards, write resumes, sync with employer systems, provide career advice, or connect to an ATS.

User-facing data inventory

• Persisted records: Role records, company names, stages, follow-ups, interviews, tasks, notes, next-step reminders, reminder alert state, notification permission state, archive state, delete actions, activity log entries, resume-version labels, links, and CSV export contents you create stay on this device.
• Transient search and filters: Search and filter text is transient UI state and is not stored as search history.
• Generated exports: CSV export contents are generated from saved role records and activity entries when you create an export.
• Cached or prepared exports: CSV files are written only for the export/share flow. Copies saved or shared outside the app are controlled outside Rungboard.
• Notification state: Role and activity reminders can keep due dates, reminder enabled state, reminder alert state, and pending notification requests. iOS notification permission controls alert delivery.
• Recent history: No separate recent-history list. Role history and activity entries are saved application records, not a hidden search-history store.
• Clear or reset controls: Use archive, restore, confirmed delete, and activity-entry delete controls. Removing the app through iOS removes the local app container.

Analytics, Logs, And Diagnostics

Rungboard includes a first-party local analytics wrapper for privacy-safe product event names. Those events do not leave the device, are not persisted by the app, and are not sent to a remote analytics service because the default analytics sink is empty.

The app's local event names are limited to workflow states such as create, update, archive, and export. They must not include role records, employer names, recruiter links, application stages, activity log entries, reminder state, resume-version labels, notes, salary details you enter, and export content.

Debug builds used by developers may print the event name and analytics pipeline to the local debug console. Release builds do not write these analytics logs. Rungboard does not include a third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, IDFA use, App Tracking Transparency prompt, account tracking, or cross-app tracking.

Apple may separately provide App Store, TestFlight, crash, diagnostic, or aggregate App Analytics reports through Apple-operated systems, App Store account controls, iOS privacy settings, or diagnostic settings. Those Apple-operated reports are separate from Rungboard's local analytics wrapper. The App Store privacy label lists data Darts Creative collects through its own systems, such as user-initiated support emails, and does not treat local-only event names as uploaded analytics or tracking.

Support requests

If you contact product support at support@dartscreative.com, the email address and details you send are used to answer the support request.

Support screenshots, logs, and email attachments can include private app data if you include them. Do not send full resumes, cover letters, job offers, recruiter emails, employer contact details, salary details, identity documents, immigration records, login credentials, sensitive job-search notes, exports, or screenshots unless support explicitly asks for a redacted example.

What Rungboard does not use

Rungboard does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, account tracking, hosted sync, job-board APIs, employer ATS APIs, recruiter marketplace data, resume-writing services, coaching services, or remote AI processing.

Your choices

You control what roles, stages, notes, reminders, archive state, exports, and shared role details you enter, keep, delete, export, or share. Review exports before sending them to another person or storing them outside the app.
