Hearthfile Privacy Policy

Overview

Hearthfile is a local-first appliance and fixture record app. It works without an account, ads, server-side service, automatic manual lookup, cloud processing, or remote AI processing.

Information you enter

Hearthfile can store appliance and fixture names, room, make, model number, serial number, purchase date, warranty date, consumables, service notes, reminder state, manual references, receipt references, label photo notes, document state, and export text that you choose to create.

Storage and sharing

Hearthfile is designed to keep app records on the device. Appliance records, serial numbers, photos, receipts, manuals, notes, and export contents do not leave the device through Hearthfile unless you choose to export or share them.

Notifications

Hearthfile can store local reminder state for service dates, warranty dates, consumables, and other upkeep dates. Notification delivery depends on device settings and permission. Hearthfile does not use notification state as proof that maintenance happened.

Photos and documents

If you add photos, manuals, receipts, or other documents, those files remain user-controlled records. Hearthfile does not verify that a document is complete, authentic, legally sufficient, safe, or accepted by a manufacturer, insurer, buyer, landlord, tenant, contractor, or repair professional.

Support requests

If you contact product support at support@dartscreative.com, the email address and details you send are used to answer the support request. Do not send private appliance records, serial numbers, receipts, manuals, photos, or exported packets unless support explicitly asks for a redacted example.

What Hearthfile does not use

Hearthfile does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, account tracking, cross-app tracking, hosted sync, automatic manual lookup, remote AI processing, contractor lead generation, insurance claim processing, or smart-home device control.

Your choices

You control what you enter, keep, edit, delete, export, or share. Review exported records before sending them to another person because exports may include appliance facts, document state, notes, dates, and other home details.
