Hearthfile Support

Hearthfile is a local file for appliances, fixtures, and the details you need later: model numbers, serial numbers, manuals, receipts, warranty dates, filter sizes, service notes, reminders, saved attachments, and exportable handoff text.

Use support when catalog, import, export, reminder, document-reference, saved-attachment, or local-storage behavior does not match the app text.

Before contacting support

• Check the item for missing optional fields.
• Check whether a part, room, or service provider catalog item is still used before trying to archive it.
• Review whether the document is a text reference, saved attachment, or marked as missing.
• Confirm notification permission if a reminder is not producing a system notification.
• Review export text before sharing it with anyone outside the household.
