Overview
CrateKeep is a local-first copy-packet app for exact vinyl record copies. CrateKeep is designed without accounts, ads, backend storage, hosted sync, third-party analytics SDKs, marketplace listing, price lookup, automatic grading, photo-library import, authenticity decisions, or remote AI processing.
Information you enter
CrateKeep can store record title, artist, pressing or release notes, format, condition notes, receipt details, purchase context, provenance notes, storage notes, care history, named evidence checklist items, reusable item templates, archived checklist-item state, visible-defect notes, dead-wax/runout notes, evidence references, and export summaries that you choose to create.
Storage and sharing
CrateKeep is designed to keep copy-packet details on the device. Record-copy facts, receipt references, provenance notes, seller or buyer details, care history, and export contents do not leave the device through CrateKeep unless you choose to export or share them.
Evidence references
If you add receipt, evidence-slot, or other evidence references, those source files remain user-controlled documents outside CrateKeep. CrateKeep does not verify that a document is complete, authentic, legally sufficient, graded correctly, accepted by a buyer, accepted by a marketplace, or accepted by an insurer.
Exports
CrateKeep can help create JSON/CSV export-manifest summaries for personal documentation. Review exports before sharing because they may include record identity, collection facts, custom evidence-slot labels, archived slot state, condition notes, receipt details, provenance, care history, evidence-reference context, and other private information.
User-facing data inventory
- Persisted records: Active and archived localization copys, record identity, condition notes, provenance notes, care history, named evidence checklist items, reusable item templates, evidence references, and archived checklist state stay on this device.
- Transient search and filters: Current editor inputs are local workflow state until saved; CrateKeep does not store search-query history.
- Generated exports: JSON, CSV, and copy-packet summaries are generated from saved copy-packet data when you prepare or share them.
- Cached or prepared exports: Prepared export text can stay in the workspace until replaced or reset; files saved or shared outside the app are controlled outside CrateKeep.
- Notification state: None. CrateKeep does not schedule reminders or notification alerts.
- Recent history: No separate recent-history list. Care history and provenance history are saved fields inside localization copys.
- Clear or reset controls: Use archive/delete controls for localization copys and Reset Localization Copys to remove active localization copys, archived localization copys, prepared export text, and custom evidence-slot templates from this device.
Analytics, Logs, And Diagnostics
CrateKeep includes a first-party local analytics wrapper for privacy-safe product event names. Those events do not leave the device, are not persisted by the app, and are not sent to a remote analytics service because the default analytics sink is empty.
The app's local event names are limited to workflow states such as create, update, archive, export, reminder, attachment, calculator, support, or screen events. They must not include record copy details, artist and title text, label and catalog numbers, dead-wax notes, storage locations, condition notes, care notes, and export packet content.
Debug builds used by developers may print the event name and analytics pipeline to the local debug console. Release builds do not write these analytics logs. CrateKeep does not include a third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, IDFA use, App Tracking Transparency prompt, account tracking, or cross-app tracking.
Apple may separately provide App Store, TestFlight, crash, diagnostic, or aggregate App Analytics reports through Apple-operated systems, App Store account controls, iOS privacy settings, or diagnostic settings. Those Apple-operated reports are separate from CrateKeep's local analytics wrapper. The App Store privacy label lists data Darts Creative collects through its own systems, such as user-initiated support emails, and does not treat local-only event names as uploaded analytics or tracking.
Support requests
If you contact product support at support@dartscreative.com, the email address and details you send are used to answer the support request.
Support screenshots, logs, and email attachments can include private app data if you include them. Do not send record copy evidence, dead-wax notes, private storage locations, ownership notes, condition notes, collection exports, dispute details, or screenshots that identify a private collection unless support explicitly asks for a redacted example.
What CrateKeep does not use
CrateKeep does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, account tracking, cross-app tracking, hosted sync, marketplace listing services, automatic catalog matching, automatic price lookup, automatic grading, photo-library import, authenticity verification, insurance claim processing, legal dispute processing, or remote AI processing.
Your choices
You control what you enter, keep, edit, delete, export, or share. Review exported localization copys before sending them to another person because exports may include private collection facts, receipt context, provenance notes, condition notes, and evidence references.
Use Reset Localization Copys in the app when you want to remove the active localization copy, archived localization copys, prepared export text, and custom evidence-slot templates from this device. Export or share anything you need before resetting.
