CircuitPocket Privacy Policy

Overview

CircuitPocket keeps low-voltage calculator work on your device. It is built for bounded bench math without a CircuitPocket account, ads, hosted sync, a code-compliance service, electrician field workflow, or remote calculation processing.

Information you enter

CircuitPocket can store or process values you enter for low-voltage calculations, including voltage, current, resistance, power, LED and resistor values, divider values, impedance or reactance inputs, resistor color selections, wire length, wire gauge, load assumptions, recent calculations, saved setups, and unit choices saved with calculation drafts, recent rows, or saved setups. Device language and region can affect formatting, but CircuitPocket does not store them as app-specific settings.

Storage and sharing

CircuitPocket is designed to keep recent calculations and saved setups on the current device. Calculation inputs, saved setup names, and unit choices do not leave the device through CircuitPocket unless you choose to export, screenshot, or share them outside the app. Device language and region stay in iOS and are used only for app wording, number formatting, and bundled support matching.

Units, formulas, device language, and region

Device language and region can affect language, number formatting, decimal separators, and unit presentation. CircuitPocket does not use device language or region to provide local electrical code guidance, NEC interpretation, permit guidance, inspection review, mains wiring authority, or regulated safety advice.

User-facing data inventory

• Persisted records: Recent calculations, saved setups, archived saved setups, active calculator drafts, calculator results, setup names, setup notes, and unit choices saved with those rows stay on this device.
• Transient search and filters: Saved-setup search and filter controls narrow the visible list only; CircuitPocket does not store search-query history.
• Generated exports: Copy, screenshot, or share actions use the visible calculation or setup values you choose to send outside the app.
• Cached or prepared exports: None. CircuitPocket does not keep a separate export cache after copy, screenshot, or share actions.
• Notification state: None. CircuitPocket does not schedule reminders or notification alerts.
• Recent history: Recent History is a real local list of recent calculation rows. Unit choices are saved with calculation drafts, recent rows, or saved setups rather than as a global unit-preference setting.
• Clear or reset controls: Use Clear Saved Setups to remove saved setups, archived setups, recent calculation history, active draft inputs, and local results. Archived setup rows can also be restored or deleted one at a time.

Analytics, Logs, And Diagnostics

CircuitPocket includes a first-party local analytics wrapper for privacy-safe product event names. Those events do not leave the device, are not persisted by the app, and are not sent to a remote analytics service because the default analytics sink is empty.

The app's local event names are limited to workflow states such as create, update, archive, export, reminder, attachment, calculator, support, or screen events. They must not include calculator inputs, selected tools, saved setup values, recent calculation rows, and notes you choose to keep outside the app.

Debug builds used by developers may print the event name and analytics pipeline to the local debug console. Release builds do not write these analytics logs. CircuitPocket does not include a third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, IDFA use, App Tracking Transparency prompt, account tracking, or cross-app tracking.

Apple may separately provide App Store, TestFlight, crash, diagnostic, or aggregate App Analytics reports through Apple-operated systems, App Store account controls, iOS privacy settings, or diagnostic settings. Those Apple-operated reports are separate from CircuitPocket's local analytics wrapper. The App Store privacy label lists data Darts Creative collects through its own systems, such as user-initiated support emails, and does not treat local-only event names as uploaded analytics or tracking.

Support requests

If you contact product support at support@dartscreative.com, the email address and details you send are used to answer the support request.

Support screenshots, logs, and email attachments can include private app data if you include them. Do not send site names, customer details, wiring photos, job notes, exact installation details, saved setup values, or screenshots that could identify a real electrical project unless support explicitly asks for a redacted example.

What CircuitPocket does not use

CircuitPocket does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, account tracking, hosted sync, job-site wiring databases, code-compliance databases, electrician dispatch data, market data, or remote AI processing.

Your choices

You control what you enter, save, revisit, delete, export, screenshot, or share. Review every calculation and unit label before using a result, and keep regulated electrical decisions outside the app.
